Helen's art is similar to Pollock's, because it is abstract. The main difference is how there is many different colors, and the different marks sometimes make a big picture. Pollock's reason behind his paintings, and Helen's reasons are very similar. Both are trying to convey their emotions in an abstract way and with an abstract piece, except Pollock was an alcoholic so his methods are rougher, whereas Helen is a psychiatrist. This quote shows how she really loves to use colors and make something that is supposed to "heal" whoever looks at the painting. Which does not make too much sense to me, but the painting look really cool, so ok Helen.
