I can be found reading, watching my favorite TV shows (Game of Thrones, Breaking Bad, and more recently West World), or playing board/card games. My roommates and I like to host game nights with our friends and try new games, which makes for a great relaxation tool. I've also recently gotten into running as both a hobby and health benefit (learning how to get healthy takes tons of research and can be done a lot of different ways, apparently).

I started studying science a long time ago because of my fascination with the science-fiction genre. My favorites stories ever told are the Star Wars movies and the books they have spawned. Many people don't know a lot about the practice of Biology even though it has completely changed the human world for the past 300 years, and I want to let people know why. I also want people to continue the trend of advancing the sciences, and perhaps inspire them to find out the little things about the world that we don't know.

I like to study genetics myself. One of my favorite topics is genetic inheritance and how traits are passed from parent to child.
