The movie is probably slow because it focuses on the life journey of both characters with regard to external and internal changes, yet I finished 9 episodes(9 hrs) in two days cuz the storytelling effect is just above all. It makes me all teary and happy at the same time while experiencing the love story that was brought about by fate, and it also makes me feel regret about a lot of stuff that had happened in my life. The most amazing fact to me is that the movie is a story devised based on the song "First Love" by Utada Hikaru. Since I have always loved the way music can lead stories, I fully understand why this movie resonates with me so well.

What's more, do you know that when you love something, you remember every smallest detail about it? I love the movie, truly. I remember every scene, every quote, and maybe the most memorable of all is their first kiss on the rooftop, the kiss that has the flavor of Marlboro tobacco.

For people like me who fancy the adrenaline you get whenever the characters are thrown into new dimensions (in this case, literally), the movies are a must. We follow the teenager Miles Morales when he accidentally received the Spiderman power. Together with other 'Spiderman' variants from other universes, Miles needs to learn to become a true superhero and protect his beloved. Ok pardon me if my summary might make the masterpieces seem like a generic combat shonen power-of-friendship anime (no offense), but I believe details are what make genres different from the others. Both the Into and Across have a coherent and interesting plot, and the storytelling is very demur, very mindful.

The laziness seems to win over, so I shall skip the part where I praise all the multi-dimensional characters and their development. But it would be a sin were I neglect the animation. Every frame is a tons of efforts for real (based-on-employee-exploitation-accusations), and again the details left me in awe. Please check it out, because all who love art, would love the animation of the movies. I wish I were a Marvel fan to discover all the easter eggs hidden in these gems.

He wields an immense power, one he himself believes was given to the wrong person. The deeper I analyze his character, the more intricate his thoughts become. He is not just a boy with an ambitious dream; with each season, his ideology reaches new heights. Yet, the pursuit of his so-called noble cause comes at an unimaginable cost—the deaths of countless people. And despite his quest for freedom, he remains its greatest prisoner. In the end, the freedom he desperately sought was never truly his—it belonged to Armin.

Armin, too, has his own tragedy. His insatiable thirst for knowledge defines him, but it also exacts a heavy toll. He loses his best friend, along with nearly everything that once mattered to him. Though he survives, he carries the burden of knowing he played a key role in the catastrophe Eren unleashed. He may continue living, but he will forever be haunted by the weight of that knowledge.

Meanwhile, Mikasa, the last member of their trio, has a much simpler yet equally profound dream—to stay by Eren’s side, the only family she has left. She possesses immense strength but remains unaware of the full extent of her own power. Her world has always revolved around Eren, and when he loses the fire in his eyes—the hope they once shared as children—her world begins to crumble. They once looked toward the sea, believing freedom lay beyond it. But that dream, too, was just an illusion.

Beyond the trio, another standout character is Levi, the unshakable squad captain. Beneath his hardened exterior, he has long been plagued by doubt—doubt in his comrades' sacrifices, doubt in his trust in Erwin, doubt in his decisions regarding Eren and Armin. His life has been a relentless cycle of uncertainty, never offering him a moment of true clarity. Yet, when he finally realizes that the choices he made were the right ones, even at an unbearable cost, he sheds his first tears—relieved that his fallen comrades can finally rest in peace.

Levi is portrayed as an invincible force, but in the end, he is as human and fragile as anyone else. That is what makes his tragedy all the more profound.

Attack on Titan is a story about dreams, sacrifices, and the cruel reality of fate. It teaches us that the pursuit of ideals often comes with unbearable consequences. And in the end, freedom is never as simple as we believe it to be.
