How can you use the data to go back to your supplier to say "We're not happy with X" e.g. point of order to point of rec.
Do you know what your KPIs are?  How can you put the systems in place to monitor and manage this data?  Can the supplier provide that data for you?

Publishers - getting the give and take - someone borrows a book from public libraries and then buys the book.  Working to highlight authors and especially new authors. Broker relationships with those publishers enmasse to say to them "we are a huge force for sales - help us"

Negotiating individually with publishers rather than going through aggregator etc - what kind of gains/savings that can be made.
