My favourite landmark in my country is the village Osturňa. My family has its roots there and it is a beautiful village. The most beautiful landmark for me is St. Stephen's Island. When we were on vacation with our family two years ago, we sailed around the island. It's amazing. I hope to see it again :)

I like everyone, but Bojnice Castle is very interesting for me, I've been there twice and it's a really beautiful castle, with a beautiful view. Slovakia is a country where there are many landmarks, whether villages, towns, castles...
Ten years ago, we were in Egypt on holiday. This years we had to go on holiday to Italy ... but because of the corona virus we have to stay at home... In the future I would like to go to the Maldives, the pictures show that it is very nice there.

I choose Statue of Jesus Christ in north Slovakia in village called Klin .I didn't know about this statue, but we were on school trip and when i saw this statue i was amazed. It is located on big hill and with an amazing view .This our statue looks just like it's relative in Rio de Janeiro in Brazil ,but our isn't that big and high. And somewhere else i want to go one more time to Paris on Eiffel Tower because i just love Paris and it was great experience to go to majestic Eiffel Tower .

I visited it few years ago, but I still remember how amazing it was. The castle rises on a high cliff above the river Dunaj. It has a beautiful and enchanting view of the natural scenery. In the future, I would very much like to visit the Eiffel Tower again, the statue of Jesus Christ in Rio de Janeiro and because I love architecture I would love to visit the Acropolis of Athens, Machu Picchu in Peru and the Colosseum in Rome.

So, I am  beginning in Slovakia. We have really interesting landmarks like castles, manour houses or old churches.  I choose one of them. Three years ago on school trip I visited impressive manour house - Betliar , which had really amazing indoor and exdoor. I liked flowers garden  and flowerbed with small lake.  We had interesting  lecture about  history of Betliar. 
In general I recommend visiting to Paris. I really liked Pantheon, Luxembourg Garden, Louvre Museum and definitely - Eiffel tower. 
And I  mustn´t   forget interesting castle Platamonas in Greece which I visited two years ago during summer holiday.  And what landmarks would I like to see?
 I would like to visit Rome , because I am interested in Ancient architecrure and historic buildings. I admire it.  And the like I would like to see Moscow.

I saw only few landmarks because it isn't the most favourite thing so i'll want see some foreign landmarks ( it doesn't matter what). The best castle for me is Spiš Castle, which is the biggest in Slovakia. Abroad, I like the Eiffel Tower, the London Eye, the Big Ban and many others.

My favorite is the statue of Jesus Christ in the photo, and my favorite castles are Orava Castle and Krásna Hôrka Castle (which you can see in the photos). I also love St. Elizabeth's Cathedral in Košice, which is really beautiful. 
 I like the Elizabeth Tower in London and Colosseum in Italy from foreign landmarks, but I've never been there.

In Slovakia I like our castles and architecture in some of our historical cities like Bardejov or Košice.
I also visited Eiffel Tower in Paris last year with our school and I also was in Mallorca where I really liked Catedral-Basílica de Santa María.
The most impressive landmark in my opinion is the statue of Christ the Redeemer in Rio de Janeiro that I would also like to visit one day.

I haven't ever visited any worldly-known landmark, only some in Slovakia and Czechia.

I'd like to visit some ancient monuments built from stone, like Stonehenge or Petra, and also some "new" (at least in comparation with Stonehenge)  landmarks - some architectual buildings in big cities like London, Dubai or Sydney.

But each is beautiful and exeptional. For example, castles, manors, exceptional villages. I don’t travel around Slovakia much, but I visited some monuments. I think that landmarks and especionally historical monuments are the most remarkable part of our country. Such as castles, churches and cathedrals.  I would like to give an honorable mention to Hviezdoslav´s Square, it is an outstanding city centre located  in our capital city Bratislava, the city part Old Town. 
Even though I don´t do as much sightseeing when I travel, because I usually go on vacation somewhere to the sea. I did visit  The Eiffel Tower, on a school trip as mentioned in some other posts, it was wonderful and I truly enjoyed the view. My personal must-see landmarks would be The Statue of Liberty in the USA and  definetly Victoria Falls located in Zimbabwe, because they are simply georgeus and fascinating.

My dream is to travel as much as possible and getting to know better other cultures. For me is the statue of Jesus Christ in Rio de Janeiro the most beautiful landmark, mainly because of the view. I don´t like mainstream, that´s why I would love to visit Norway and its beautiful nature as soon as possible.

I also visited many of them, such as castles, chateaux, open-air museums. I was also in Paris where I saw the Eiffel Tower. But I probably liked the Sagrada Famillia or the Magic fountain of Montjuic in Barcelona the most. I think Barcelona is a beautiful city, especially at night.

The Nature is untouched and the villages where there aren't so many inhabitans are really interesting. The most popular place to visit is the Mulafossur Waterfall. Perhaps the only negative is the unstable weather. Of course, I'd like to visit many different places like for instance Eiffel tower, Machu Picchu, the Azores and more.
