I had several things looming over me, such as homework and reading that I should of done. my sister and I were on dessert duty and she made pumpkin pie and I got to make baklava. My mom got the wrong dough, so the recipe was messed up and it turned out to be just puff pastry and walnuts submerged in butter and honey. I was ecstatic because usually in my family the night of Thanksgiving, we watch a movie or have a marathon of a show that we all like. I was shocked that the turkey was still intact by the end of the meal because my two sisters feel like they should now become vegetarian. I didn't have much to do and was feeling ponderous. then I was told that we were going to meet my non blood related cousin. that was deluging because I first of all had never seen them, and second of all one of the 6 kids was a girl who is my age. I got to know her and the next day we were decorating cookies and roller-skating ecstatically. it shows that if you submerge into a new friendship, it will be worth it.
