         <description><![CDATA[<div>- The process by which green plants and some other organisms use sunlight to synthesize foods from carbon dioxide and water. Photosynthesis in plants generally involves the green pigment chlorophyll and generates oxygen as a byproduct.<br>- Plants need food, carbon dioxide and water. In return they give us oxygen<br>- Makes me think of a sponge because when you give it a dirty surface it gives you a clean surface.&nbsp;<br>- I kind of understand this concept.&nbsp;</div>]]></description>

The cycle is light-independent because it takes place after the energy has been captured from sunlight.&nbsp;<br>- The reaction that takes place in the chloroplast that uses the energy from the light reactions&nbsp;<br>- It reminds me of jello because its squishy&nbsp;<br>- I really understand this topic. </div>]]></description>
