I use technology heavily in everyday life. I can use it to pay for and or purchase things, travel, communicate, and entertain myself. Without it, I could not get through the day. I can quickly and easily address difficulties with technology by a click of my finger.
For example, I didn't have cash or a card on me before I'd be left defenseless but because of technology I am able to digitally have access to my money and be able to pay with just a double tap.

Technology is a part of every second throughout my day. Starting from the alarm set on my phone waking me up every morning, to the rain sounds my Alexa plays when I go to sleep, I am constantly using electronics. Without technology in my day-to-day life, I would have to submit assignments manually rather than uploading them as a PDF. The digital age that we are living in is one that gives us the ability to find a solution to almost every single one of our problems. When I think about technology, I always think about how life used to be back then to now. Back in the days people used to read books to get information about something which costs money. Now we have the internet that we can use a search engine to look up information instantly. When people want to watch media, we had to use filmreels and VHS where they can wear quickly. Now we have Blu-ray and streaming media with high quality. People were the only people who mass produce products with no assistance, but now they have the help with machines that are told what to do. We have to dig in our wallets to find specific amounts of cash and it gets lost sometimes, but now we can use a tap of a card to buy stuff, and you can now get stuff online. People back then must use a USB port or a floppy disk, but now we have clouds where we make an account and all is saved. In general, modern technology has helped us a lot to make the complicated tasks easier with technology in the past evolving.

Technology has played a huge role in my daily life. Every single day, I’m always using technology one way or another. Most of the time though, I use my phones daily either for entertainment, for work, or for traveling. Although some people may say that technology is slowly ruining and taking over our lives, I believe it’s the opposite; it’s helping a lot of people, me included, to address many issues they have in their lives. For example, I’m very, very, very bad at directions, even with a physical map in my hands, I will still get lost. But, with google map in hand, with it actually showing me where I need to go, I can easily go from one destination to another with little hindrance. Another example is entertainment, mainly music. Technology plays a vital role in my everyday life. When I wake up in the morning, I have the accessibility of checking bus times and even time in general through my phone or the clock. There's an automatic door for entering the bus which is very helpful. Technology is all around us and sometimes we don't even realize its presence. When I enter campus, I can just scan my ID instead of swiping it even though swiping is also a part of technology. I can do my assignments on my computer, I don't have to print papers (still a form of technology) I can just write emails to professors which makes my life a lot easier. Writing a letter and mailing it to a professor would be such a problem for me now but if I didn't live in this time i would surely appreciate such technology during whatever time I lived in (before emails). At the end, technology is everywhere and the technology that has made our lives easier today might seem problematic and "too much" to future generations as they might have advanced technology. It was the same for people in the past, they appreciated all of the new technological advancements that were happening in their time but we consider them as "hard", "too much", or simply problems.

Technology is something that I use every day especially for school I have a Computer where I can do my assignments more faster and easier. I also use my Phone every day to make calls to text my friends to email people. I remember I was getting lost and did not know what to do thanks to my phone I was able to reach out to my house I used google maps which guide me to the destination I was heading to. Am I having symptoms of something? Am I stuck on a puzzle? All the answers are there. Since I play video games, technology has always helped me on parts that I'm stuck on. It could be a level, puzzle, decision-making, and the results. It is my go-to guidebook. I also use technology when buying online. If I can't get something specific in person, surely I can get it online and quickly pay for it. Without the use of technology, I would have many hardships in terms of even functioning in my daily life. I wouldn't be able to order food, clothes, and necessities, help myself on assignments I'm stuck on, answer any wonders in life, or even wake up for school. Technology has helped me to avoid any upcoming problems. For example, if I have trouble waking up on time, I can put an alarm for several times. Technology has helped me within my daily life, it has helped with my education. There are many times where I don’t understand an assignment so I begin to give up but I realized I can reach out to my teachers in an easier way which is through technology. I was able to solve the issue before it came to effect. The relationship between media and technology is while media refers to more of the entertainment side, technology promotes the processes of media. In other words, the media relies on technology. While technology begins to improve overtime, it also shapes how media is presented to people. For example, back in the day there were “delivery boys” who would go around to every house and deliver the newspapers while in today’s age you turn on your TV and you see what’s going on everywhere right from your couch. Technology has always been involved in peoples lives and now is more incorporated than ever. In my daily life the role of technology is my phone being my alarm clock, my communication, my entertainment, my reading, my wallet, my homework, etc. It's literally everything. The role of technology in my daily life is once I wake up without it, I don’t know how I will function. I use it to set my alarm to be able to wake up, check the weather to see what I’m going to wear, talk to family and friends, see if the trains are working so I can go on with my day, etc. I use technology for school we don’t use paper as much anymore everything has to be done on my computer or something that is technology. When we were in middle school, we didn’t use technology everything had to be done on paper. When COVID came, we did everything on technology if we didn’t log in to Zoom, we would fail because we didn’t have class in person. For us teens, the moment COVID hit was when we were on technology 24/7, and we became addicted to technology. We couldn’t go outside or hang out with friends; we were bored, so technology was our best friend for those years COVID happened. We can’t live without technology because everything can be done with it. Before I could fix my problems on my own and figure it out. Now that I know that technology can help me and it will be easier I use it for everything. I get lost I go to Google Maps and find my way out. The trains don’t work I go to Google and see what’s another way I can get to my destination. Having been born in the age of technology I believe technology is an essential part of my life and I use it every day. Specifically I use technology for gaming, networking on social media platforms, or find inspiration for various art activities. But there are also other sorts of technologies that I use that I don’t really think about. For instance, we use pen and paper to write and take notes. Before people used ink and a quill. Even something like typing wasn’t so convenient. Before typing on an application like Word, people used a typewriter, which you weren’t allowed to make mistakes on because if you did you would have to start the whole paper over. Means of transport is also considered technology, I take the bus every morning to school. If I need the latest news I don’t need to wait for a newspaper to be published, if I want to watch my favorite tv show I don’t need to wait a whole week for the next episode. Maps are accessible from my phone, I can listen to music without the radio or a cd, and even doors are made to open automatically in some places. If I want to, I can order groceries or shop for clothes online and have them delivered to my house the same day. I do not even have to complain about going to research for anything because I have a plethora of articles and books online to scroll through instead of looking through various books at the library. Technology has made my everyday life extremely convenient and I sometimes take for granted the things I have just at my fingertips. Though there are positives to technology there are also negatives and ethical questions that arises with upcoming advancements of AI- primarily how it can take jobs or do work for students. I guarantee that if you were to tour a random house, you would likely run into many different variants of such. Televisions, phones, computers, a whole database are at the disposal of human use. Even in my household, I find devices spread around the rooms, adding convenience to my life. From my phone alarms to research for Lehman or just for my interest. I often hear from older people who didn’t have such a luxury of technology at their disposal bash and criticize the work ethic of newer generations.
