He's an incredibly talented actor, as he played a murderous clown in two movies, so I think playing Marlow would be up his alley. I picked Depp because of his history of very complex and weird roles. I feel like he would be charismatic enough to sell Kurtz’s charisma and manipulation, and he would have the audience captivated by his performance, like he does in every role he takes. I feel like a person like Kurtz needs a larger than life actor, and Depp definitely fits the bill there.
