Before he passed, the prophecy he sent Firestar was "There will be three, kin of your kin, who hold the power of the stars in their paws." It stuck with him throughout The Great Journey. And now... they have been born. Lionkit and Hollykit are perfectly healthy physically and mentally. Jaykit is mentally healthy but he is blind. This still gave no problem when he played with his is brother and sister. The kits got bored and snuck out of the hollow to find some fox cubs because there was a mother fox that had died in a fox trap. The clan could not let fox cubs stay because they would soon grow up and attack the clan. The kits found the fox cubs' den and went in, they were chased out immediately. Jaykit was chased by one of the fox cubs, he didn't notice the hollow and fell down the steep drop, injuring himself severely, A few moons/months later, Hollykit, Jaykit, and Lionkit became apprentices. Hollykit wanted to be a medicine cat apprentice so the medicine cat, Leafpool, apprenticed her. Lionkit wanted to be a warrior apprentice so he was given to Ashfur and Jaykit wanted to be a warrior apprentice so he was given to Brightheart. Jaykit despised Brightheart but he accepted anyway. The three were given the name of 'paw'. Brightheart treated him like a kit most of the time and Jaypaw hated it. So he rarely listened to the one-eyed warrior. Brightheart decided to train Jaypaw with the help of Longtail, an elder that became an elder when he was a young warrior because he was blinded by a rabbit while hunting with some other warriors. Jaypaw was sent straight to the elder's den to clean out their bedding and replaced it with fresh moss. Later they were ambushed by the third fox cub that they couldn't find and chase out of their territory. They were helped out by Thornclaw's patrol of him, Dustpelt, Poppypaw, and Hazelpaw. Two Shadowclan warriors were chasing him to stop him from getting reinforcements, but Graystripe lunged at them and jumped on one of their backs, leaving one left. Squirrelflight got the last one and Lionpaw was able to get help. Brook was there and they talked for a bit. Brook knew she was not happy as a medicine cat, she talked o her about it. ((Mostly just Shadowclan)or I guess basically only Shadowclan but shh) They calm them down by making a contest to see which clan has the best training method. Jaypaw had a dream of it in Lionpaw's eyes. Jaypaw came just in time and saved them both. After the leaders decided that each clan has a winner because they are equal. Thunderclan was Hollypaw, Shadowclan was Owlpaw, Riverclan had Pouncepaw, and Windclan had Heatherpaw. Jaypaw was celebrated for saving Lionpaw and Breezepaw.
