On Christmas Eve Morning, my family is going to my Mom's house- each with a bag of flour and potatoes. This is because we are going to make pierogis all morning! My great grandmother used to make pierogis each Christmas and my Aunt Linda recently found her recipe. Everyone is going to help to boil the potatoes, make dough, mash the potatoes, stuff the dough, and pinch the sides. Pierogis are one of my favorite dishes and I'm sure they will be delicious homemade. My surgery was on my head. They cut my head and belly open.
