During the sessions, we worked as groups. So, colloborating is making these classes more enjoyable.
We participated in all the tasks.
While we are learning how to prepare and manage the classes, we apply them at the same time.
As listening tasks are challenging for students, we tried to apply adaptation techniques.
Everyone has a new idea 💡, that leads us to enhance our planning style, i belive.
Day 2 is going amazingly well!
Thank you Sam and Jason !

During listening and speaking activities, students may not want be parf of the activities.
For we can not force them to speak, they can be very stubborn.
I would like to discover some solutions for this problem.
This problem also is valid for the second question.
We as teachers face that problem very often.
The activity we did with Sam, named PaperSlide, is really un-put-downable. I couldn't realize how time passed. Really enjoying 😉
It works better if it is given as homework.
I had great time while doing the activity,Listen and draw, with Jason.

To describe my thoughts about the flipped classroom, I would say it is risky, time-saver and a good helper.
I have concerns about how to adapt it to my secondary school students.
Each student has a different style to learn.
Thats why, it is difficult to supply resources for all students.
It is not all about materials, it might be about economical issues too.
Not every student can have same chances.
So, that's a big problem.
If it would be possible to eliminate problems, we need parents' support either.
So, combination with another approach is necessity.
My colleagues would agree with me, I believe.
I wish we could use this approach, that would be my savior!

It is great to be here ! The class and educators have really warm energy.
For the first day, it was like a warm up session.
We got chance to know each other and our different teaching styles.
My thoughts about using online tools are positive and they got enhanced.
Writing is tough. As students and teachers, writing tasks should be informative and enjoyable.
I liked snack writing. Writing freely broadens students mind.

My colleagues would be interested in using online tools and discussions about how to solve problems.
I think, I can give report them what happened here :)

As i observed, there is not only one method for teaching grammar in my area.
There is combination of methods, which is more useful for me, but the levels of students is important. It depends on their difficulties of learning.
Deductive and implicit teaching style is the methods that i find useful for teaching grammar. These are the key ideas to be passed on local teachers.
They would reject the idea,i suppose because classroom quota can be not suitable for these teaching methods.
It might be more possible to have the students speak if group works be more often.
Activities like games, competitions, information gap can let hem have fun while they are learning.

I agree that there are more disadvantages than advantages in using translation to teach meaning.
It is because that teaching vocabulary in L1 causes to make the students think in L1 mostly.
But if associate the L2 words with images or actions, they would use L2 as it is.
Also, it is not always easy to meet the exact meaning of the word in L2.
In dictionaries, we can not find the all L1 words .

A PLC facilitator is providing support and challenge and ensuring enthusiasm is maintained.
Facilitation is not command and control. It is not being superior to anyone.
That makes me feel secured both as a facilitator and student.
Attendance is more enjoyable in this way.
The facilitators who are giving informations and suggestions let me know my rights and how things should be while conducting a project and PLC.
I need to be so focused and confident that i can express what i am doing and what project aims.
