It locates at in the end of Sun street and opposite the Sunbury Cafe. I enjoyed my earl grey tea and spend time in this cafe about an hour. So the Music room is local independent cafe, it has something different from chain cafe for instance kind of service, barista take care their customer like customers are their friends, they talk with customers in every tables. Almost customers are people that live in local area so they know baristas together. So I have to change my plans and decided to experience the M&S’s. Compared to starbucks and costa, the cashier is not professional enough and their tea has very little selectivity. However, the coffee varieties are similar. With a curious mind, I ordered a cup of cappuccino, and my fellow companions ordered a cup of hot chocolate. It is worth mentioning that m&s’s service is good, each coffee is served with a small cookie. In terms of taste, the cappuccino is bitter, and has a strange astringency, but when I tried to match the marshmallow, I was shocked, it was so good to drink, and I'll be back next time.

The first thing I noticed was the variety of choices in the menu. This can be seen in the numerous selection of beverages,hot drinks,sandwiches and desserts in chain cafes. Furthermore,the service in chain cafes is noticeably faster than local cafes this is due to the extra number of employees in chain cafe. One significant difference between the two is that the chain cafes are usually open 7dayes a week while on the other hand local cafes are often closed on Sunday or the number of working hours on the weekends are limited.
There are many more differences between them,but personally the most important differences are the services provided by chain cafes such as:drive through ,online ordering via their applications ,club card points and most importantly FREE WIFI🙂.

I and my friend LU chose two meals. During the meals we watched the BBC news that the restaurant was playing. The news about the last month of London occurred in the attack on the phenomenon of acid. The news speaks about the state of war in Turkey. Then after we have two meals on the table, the restaurant people are gradually more. At this time we all began to pay attention to the Australian tennis game. Lu is a senior tennis fan, apparently he was fascinated by the game.
I heard some people talking about athletes during the eating process, but since I hardly looked at tennis, it was hard to understand who they were talking about.
I have come to this THE BROWN COW restaurant twice.This time I deliberately eat the famous British fried fish and fries. Obviously, the fried fish and fries here is very different from what I imagined. Where the fish wrapped around a layer, eat like a Chinese home cooking - fried eggplant folder.

-GROUP 5]]> 2017-07-16 22:57:53 UTC https://padlet.com/cgarland16/1nmfr7vz7b5w/wish/178806215 The experience at The Brown Cow https://padlet.com/cgarland16/1nmfr7vz7b5w/wish/178809712 Today, I go to Lancaster Town with my friend Dolly, but the destination temporarily changed because we were waiting for the bus for almost one hour and we finally directly went to the local restaurant called The Brown Cow, highly recommended by a mobile App, instead of Lancaster Castle. When we entered the restaurant, there are only two or three customers in this place and it made me suspect whether this restaurant is good enough like the App said or not. We ordered some food, some very traditional British food. The food was tasty and at a reasonable price, but I have to say waiting time was so long. Of course, it was worth it. We watched BBC news including the other two guys, who were entering the restaurant and waited for same reason just like us. After listening these two guys' discussion about the acid attacks happened in London, the BBC channel started to live the tennis final match, Federer versus Cilic, in Wimbledon. I am a big fan so I cannot stop to explain some basic knowledge of tennis more funny to Dolly and it always has to be a long story. Finally, we ate up all the food and it was the most fortunate thing to see Federer's figure in one third of the game process(one set). Today is so incredible.

Nice cafe,a cafe in the castle,its  position makes the  cafe become more mysterious and charming. There were a few desks placed outside with the sun shining on them, we sat outdoor and enjoyed a cup of coffee. Cause i seldom drink coffee in my lifetime, i can't make too much discription of the cafe.Nevertheless,i really enjoy spending such beautiful an afternoon in NICE CAFE.

It may not appear the difference between chain and independent cafes for many of coffee lovers.
  In the United Kingdom particularly, I have my own experience with chain cafe such as Costa or Starbucks and independent cafe such as The Fleet Street Press in London that I can divide it into four perspectives that may help to know the difference between them.
  The size and the decoration of coffee shops could clarify directly whether the cafe is chain or independent cafe. In chain cafe, the size of shops usually is medium to large and the decoration is uniform. In contrast, the shop size of the independent cafe is small to medium and decoration is topical or a mixture of old and new furniture and cosier.
  As for products, it is clear to see multiple options of products in chain cafes, unlike independent cafes that have limited products and sometime providing their own homemade sweets.
  The price and the staff are close enough and there is no big difference between chain and the independent cafes, but the reasonable price and the favourable staff oscillate depending from one place to another and from one branch to another.
