The difference between living in an apartment or a house is that the house has more privacy, space, and independence than an apartment. It can cost you more maintenance expenses than an apartment because you are the only one who bears the share. Compared to apartments, the landlord usually does the maintenance for the building before he sells it to buyers or households. Living in an apartment may have less independence than living in a house because you already share all amenities with other residents or tenants. However, living with others in the same building can kill your boredom and help you feel more secure.

<del>The differences between an apartment and a house are the independence, space expenses, and manufacturing of a house</del>. <del>You need to put more money into it because it is your house, and you need to fix it.</del> <del>The landlord of an apartment needs to fix the apartments before he sells them to households you came in. The house has more space and freedom than the apartment. In the apartment, you will get less independence but more neighbours that can help you with your work, but on the other hand, in a house, you don't have neighbours. That was the difference between a house and an apartment. </del>

Living in a house offers more privacy, space, and independence than an apartment, but it also comes with higher maintenance expenses, as the sole responsibility falls on you. In contrast, apartment landlords typically handle building maintenance before selling to buyers or households. While apartment living may offer less independence due to shared amenities with other residents or tenants, it has its advantages. Sharing a building with others can alleviate boredom and provide a sense of security. Ultimately, the choice between living in an apartment or a house depends on one's preference for independence and willingness to manage maintenance expenses versus the desire for a communal living experience and a feeling of security.
