He doesn't know how to control any situation the right way when he gets upset he leaves and goes out to drink instead of talking about things. Is work hard for things. if you work hard for things you want you will get them and in this book Walter didn't really work hard for the liquor store he just tried to get it by taking money from the check. By him doing that he ended up not getting the liquor store.
