Chords Used: Verse – Eb Major, Bb Major (1st inversion), C Minor. Chorus/Bridge – Ab Major, Bb Major, G Minor, C Minor.
The majority of the song is performed using flat and minor chords, with the choruses primarily consisting of flat chords.
The song's intro starts with an E & B flat chord, then goes to a C minor and A flat chords. In the first verse, the song has the same chord progression. When it comes to the chorus, the chords change to an A and B flat chords, then goes to a G and C minor chords. The same arrangement is repeated throughout the song. The chord progression of “Titanium” is one of the most powerful chord progressions. David Guetta is famous for his dynamic chord progressions.
This is the first chord in the song's verse. I worked it out by trying to play it in Logic. The notes of the chord are D#, G and A#.

House music is a genre of electronic music created in the early 1980s. Early house music was made with repetitive 4/4 beats, rhythms played from drum machines, off-beat hi-hat cymbals, and synthesized bass parts.
The mechanical, repetitive rhythm of house music played the most important part in the song.
"Urban contemporary" music draws from African-American music, mainly coming from African-American R&B.
Urban contemporary music came from the characteristics of R&B and soul music.

Why knowing about the context of songs enhances your performance of that song

Knowing about the genre of the song helps me to make my own interpretation which reflects the style of the song. When I play drums I use the same tempo as the piano in the song. I play a 4/4 time signature just like the original song and use the hi-hat cymbal. Without the knowledge of the history of the artist or the genre of the song, I may give an irrelevant and clashing feeling to the song.
