This allowed us to understand the various tasks that each team player needed to carry out.
Cooperation between the group is essential to produce this piece, requiring equal participation to avoid unfairness. As said by famous businessman James Cash Penney: "The best teamwork comes from men who are working independently toward one goal in unison."

From this meeting, it was also made aware of the level of quality the animatic had to be. We were shown existing company examples of there animatics that were used to help animators produce the film. This kicked off the types of research that we needed to distribute and collect into order to produce our animatic.
Example of the level of production expected from the supervisor/client:

First Idea Brainstorm
The animation starts with a little forest creature (as illustrated in earlier posts) living life and wondering around looking for food alone. The woods are sunny, with a gentle breeze and the tone is peaceful and calm. When pulling some onions from the ground and munching contently, one pulls back and is revealed to be alive. Confused the little creature sniffs, and interacts with the onion. He then continues on his way, with the onion following. The rest of the animation is a short, cute journey with them carrying on the day, the onion on the back of the creature, finding small streams, playing with leaves, stargazing and ending the animation on a sweet note, as they curl up and sleep - the little creature no longer alone.

(Idea still in development)

The musical score dictates the tone, much like other short, speechless animations such as 'The Snowman'.

Done in a Studio Ghibli type animation Style
