                                       My name Is Bryan and these are things about me

My favorite  food is pizza. The reason pizza is my favorite food is because of the pizza bread  and tomato sauce and cheese which is my favorite topping and pineapple. I like sweet things. I don't like chocolate . Another interesting fact about me is that I'm part Haitian and Colombian. I'm 12 and my birthday is September 17 2010.my last is barbier it in french because in haiti people speak French and creole and my family was one of those people. My aunt name me because my dad was going to name his name and my aunt said for him to name me another cause I can't have the same the same name as him , If It wasnt for my aunt my name will be gregory fils barbier  ,fils mean son in french.

I study math and ELA because but mostly math because it is easy sometimes it gets hard but I think of it as a challenge . Also I like to study science because it is also easy because I like to do experiments .  And I also like ELA because I like to read but not write .  but I don't like social studies because at times it can get boring . Also all my teachers from seventh grade and 6th grade are nice and 8th grade too .

Hi Ms. Brizard and Ms. Murray, I’m very happy to be in your class this year. I am 

nervous for eighth grade though since it’s my last year of middle school. I’m a very anxious 

person which means I have anxiety when it comes to school stuff, especially getting good grades 

and arriving early. It’s not just for school, I’m also anxious when it comes to being in public in 

general. Except overtime I have actually overcome that fear. While being an anxious person, 

I’m also calm and quiet, and at other times quite loud. I’m a person who has very descriptive

imagination, meaning I love to picture images or stories in my head. This might sound weird but I 

do it everywhere. When I eat, when I sleep, when I’m in class, basically everywhere! 

          

           Creating a picture about nature, People, or anything in general just makes me happy. All

 

of this connects to my passion of writing, drawing, and creating. The kind of music that I’m 

definitely into Korean pop music. I also like dark music about horror themes. My music genre is 

mostly pop rock, indie, and basically anything that paints a picture in my head.  Some things 

about my family life is that I’m the youngest child in my family, and I have an older brother. We like 

to make small videos together that have where we create a story about stuffed animals. My favorite 

subject is ELA since I love to write and study different poems about different cultures and 

themes. I read a poem last year called “The Road Not Taken”, By Robert Frost. The message 

behind that poem was to understand how to make important decisions. Since then, I loved 

studying the deep meanings behind the different pieces of literature. That’s me, Zara Masood,

                             Essay

Starting 8th grade as a senior is very hard for me because I feel a little nervous and sad because this is the last year of middle school for me, but I also feel happy for starting this year fresh, even though I was not prepared. Some things about me are that I'm very silent and I don't like to talk or communicate with my classmates; I only like to talk to my friends. I'm also Hispanic and I'm from Honduras. One thing I love about my country is its gastronomy. The food is delicious, and I love playing video games and watching videos. I have three siblings, one brother and two sisters. I'm not very communicative with people, but I love doing my work in class. One thing I don’t like about school is that sometimes we get a lot of work, and my favorite subjects are ELA, science, and art.I live in an apartment with my siblings and parents. Sometimes me and my family go to different states like New Jersey,  North Carolina, Texas,Pennsylvania  and more. I love to travel so I can learn more about each state. This summer, I went to Six Flags in New Jersey and the New York Botanic Garden. I did a lot of things throughout this summer, and as an 8th grader, I will put a lot of effort into this school year.

  My name is Mikealinah I was born in America, I'm also part Cuban and  Haitian. I like R&B music. I'm 13 years old and my birthday is january 11th.
I'm a chill person and sometimes hyper.I'm also a loyal person and a Child of God. My summer was Chill. We went to the beach, had family time, Go bowling, celebrating my cousin's birthday ect. 
I'm the middle child in the family. I have 3 sisters and no boys. I like to draw and play video games. How I feel about being an 8th Grade student is relieved because I will finally be going to high school and also be  near that age to get a job and make money for myself. As you can see that’s all you need to know about me and how I feel.

My full name is Steven Joseph Artica Marin, I am 13 years old, I have two sisters, God wanted one of my sisters to be born in this country,but we know that everything is in God’s plans, what specifically describes me is soccer. I have played soccer since I was little, my dad has always played  soccer with me and also many people in my family like soccer. Also another thing that I like is going to Church. I am from Honduras, Central America. When I arrived in this country, I and my family started going to Church, then we liked it because of the comforts we had, and because we also wanted to congregate in the Church, and until now we continue going to Church. I also like to spend time with my family, inside and outside the Church. Speaking of school, the school here is very different from the one in my country, but I liked it, but I also have specific classes that I like, for example gym, art and now the Spanish class, but apart from that I like I like how they have everything organized, for example the classrooms, the class number, how they organize the classrooms, etc.

My name is Rayan JeanBaptiste. I have 2 brothers. 1 of them has already moved out of my parents house. I went to time square sometime towards the end of the summer break. And I am ok with being in 8th grade. The only thing I don’t like is that I feel old and I don’t know why. Maybe it is because I am turning 13 in november. I like YouTube and not having much work to do. But I  might seem a bit selfish but I don’t like having to help people constantly especially if I have to help the same people all the time. And I absolutely hate being overworked or having too much work to do. And that is all you need to know about me for now.

My name is Mosi, I'm 14 and my birthday is March 27 2009. I'm a Muay thai fighter and an artist. I like to Facetime with my friends, watch youtube and sleep. There's not really much to know about me but I love doing art and training. In my free time I learn how to speak arabic. I feel amazing being a 8th grader because i'm getting more mature and my learning skills are getting better and i want to become very successful in the future so I can get into a good paying job my summer was okay I went out alot with my friends but didn't go on vacation but im looking forward doing that next summer.

                                          

Something about myself is that I love basketball a lot. Some weekends I play it everyday and my favorite games are 2k23 and 2k24. My summer was great, like I said I played basketball and I went to summer school. And of course I passed. Starting 8th grade was fun telling how it is so far all I need to do is pay attention and do the work I will be good at and get good grades.My goal this year is to get silver or gold honor roll.. Last year I said the same thing. It didn't go so well but I'm sure this year I’m going to get it. And my mom would be proud                                                    

  

This new year i’m feeling nervous and scared but I'm happy that I'm back because I was sad  

because i was not spending time with them

This summer it was a little difficult to be without my friends for a long time but we didn't lose 

contact we were talking. my best friend is Keneth Lopez he is my best friend since we were 

children we grew up together we were in the same school we have known each other for many 

years. We have been together for approximately 8 years. and I want our friendship to last more 

years my birthday is May 12 2010 my full name is Miriam Lizeth Escobar Fernandez my favorite 

food is the baleadas. They are from Honduras. I love them. In this class my friends my Keneth 

Lopez and Steven Marin are from Honduras too.

My name is Fardin Raj I was born on June 10th 2010 in Bangladesh, my home Country. I have 2 brothers and had 1 older sister but she passed away when she was 3 years old. I had one dream that when I grew up that I wanted to be a doctor so I told my parents that we should move to the USA so I can study better in the USA. So we moved when I was 5 years old in 2015. We stayed for only 6 months then we moved back to Bangladesh. Then we decided to move back in 2017 when I was 7 years old. My first day of school I was excited to go to school and I was going to Second grade. I didn’t make a lot of friends because I was new and didn't know how to speak English that well. I would stay up all night to learn how to talk better and also would learn new words every single day. It took me a year to get better than how I was when I was new.  My life goal is to be a doctor one day. Now that I’m in 8th grade my goal is this year to get honoral This is My last year in this school so I’m trying my best to be good and focus on myself.

Being in 8th grade feels weird since this will be my last year in middle school and after this I go to high school. I   was   originally   from   the   twin   island   Trinidad   and   Tobago,   I   moved   here   in   2018   at   the   age   of   7.   This  summer  I   went   back   to   my   homeland   for a   3  week   vacation   and   I'm   going   back  this   upcoming  January   for   the   whole   month  and   a   week   for   the   carnival   which   I'm   looking   forward  to.  My hobbies   are   listening   to   music,  dancing,   cooking,   drawing   and   studying space.   I   want   to   study  psychology  and   become  a   psychologist.   I'm   also looking   forward   to   graduating.

From my mistakes and also learn from others. My summer was delightful because I got to.

Take a break from school ,traveling and another reason why my summer was delightful. 

Because I got to talk to my friends and have fun I also went shopping and went to buffets.

With my family because my dad said we have to enjoy life before it's too late or you're too old. 

I played video games with my friends and neighbors I went to the park where I met friend from.

Elementary school we played basketball together and went window shopping together.

I'm Jamaican and Puerto Rican. I'm 13 years old and born on May 30th 2010. I go to Jamaica each summer. I've also been to Egypt and Türkiye. My favorite artists are Deftones, Alexa Demie, Lana del Rey, Pinegrove, Pavement, and Mac DeMarco. My favorite Deftones albums are Diamond Eyes, Koi no Yokan, and White Pony. My favorite Lana del Rey songs are Freak, Ultraviolence, Smarty, Art Deco, and Trash Magic. I like to read and write, I also used to dance. In my free time I like to bake, sleep, and watch tv. My favorite tv shows are The 100, Good Girls, Gravity Falls, I am not okay with this, and The Disastrous Life of Saiki K. My favorite movies are Freaks, Orphan, It, Texas Chainsaw Massacre, The Lovely Bones, Helter Skelter, and Girl Interrupted. Lastly, my summer was alright. I was in Jamaica for 3 weeks and spent the rest of my summer at my moms house in NY.
