Instead of watching it through a TV, the people who lived in the 50's and 60's would have to buy tickets and get seats to the show before they ran out. Because they didn't have very good TV, the tickets sold out very quickly. Even though TV wasn't very good nor in color, people still had their favorite shows to watch. After years of trial and error, the TV networks had finally began pushing out shows that people wanted to see.
