Yes, art can help us uncover perspectives that we weren’t aware of previously. For instance, a specific artwork could raise awareness of a societal issue you weren’t aware of and allows us to discover different perspectives. It can also reveal personal stories that can shape the way we think and the values that we ascribe to.

There are several historical examples of art doing this. The Renaissance led to several works of art that influenced subsequent advancements in the sciences, religion, and society in general. Propaganda art has also been influential throughout history and you could say that modern media continues to influence perspectives by advocating in favor or against specific viewpoints.

Art can change how we personally see ourselves and our surroundings. Art can help evoke emotions that change our perspective of a specific event or memory for example. By learning about other people’s experiences and/or emotions, art can help us develop different perspectives and allow us to see our own experiences in a different light. This has helped make the world larger, more diverse, and more interconnected.

Um, don't what you want me to exemplify that? It can influence our interests and therefore allowing us to view the world at a different perspective. For example Oppenheimer movie, that movie ignited my interest for the history of how the nuke was made and if there were more to be used even today. After having a deeper interest in that, I have slight opinions on the countries that fought in the war.
