I was very comfortable with editing and I had a better idea of what types of shots I should use for certain areas in my video for this week. Overall, this second week of Mobile Media went very well. I misjudged the amount of time needed to do effective pre-production, however, this is only a valuable learning experience and lesson that I can take into Week 3. I think that Mr. Burr did a great job with organizing this week and did a particularly good job in providing us with enough videos so that we could understand how to do things such as storyboarding and making a shotlist. One of the most valuable things I took away from this week was understanding the importance of pre-production. By being able to do effective pre-production my filming and editing went very smoothly. I think my pre-production for my life in seconds was pretty good overall. I think if I had more time to develop a better shotlist with more variety it may have came out better. However, it was my first time ever and I thought I did a pretty good job with it considering that.
