Its surface is smooth to the touch
It lives under a plant
You might be thinking is has a perfect life
But it thinks
That its heart is in jail
because it cannot fly

A long time ago,
a walking jewel
used its flying powers
to trick the king
into eating poison
that would kill the person
immediately and so suddenly
but the king has cursed the walking jewel's kind
"Alas, you will be immobile for the rest of your life"
And so it was
that it looks eye-popping and beautiful
but appearances can be deceiving to the eyes
as even though something is beautiful
