Where to begin. I love you so much! Your humor, passion for excellence, and care for other has made an impact in my life. This year has been a whirlwind of change and you've taken it by the horns and kicked a**. (I initially wrote out the word, but decided to censor myself). You will always have a special place in my heart for your deep compassion for others, crafts, and for your amazing dip.

Seriously though Annie. You are one of the most genuine, incredible women I've ever met. I feel so seen and cared for by you as a teammate and person. You've pushed me to be a better teammate (in my stress induced moments of chaos pre-event days) and modeled how to be a better woman in so many ways. I am incredibly grateful for you and will need to stop soon because I will burst into tears. Thank you for being you! <3

You make life better for everyone you meet. You are hilarious, strong, smart, talented, creative, capable, driven, thoughtful in an almost Olympic way, methodical, and just so damn generous. I can't believe Chicago gets to call you its own soon. Chicago is so lucky. I hate Chicago. The amount of lessons we have learned together, the parties you've planned that I got to go to, the dip you've prepared, the systems you have either created or fortified - it all goes on and on and it's just too much. Watching you step into the role of a parent has been one of the most raw and inspiring experiences of my life. You teach me what mothering looks like to a teenager that needs you. I'm shoring up my grit and determination right now because of you. Thank you for everything. I am planning to force friendship and love upon you for years and years to come. Annie - this picture spoke to me in so many ways to capture some of the gift you have contributed to my life. There is a sarcastic, real humor you bring that when unpacked, shows the tremendous love you have for others around you. You deeply care for those you live life with and give of yourself to ensure their well-being, event to the point of sacrifice of self.
