Meant to be based around the idea of “banned books,” in the U.S. (considering an updated list was just published with some ridiculous choices to ban such as The Hunger Games)

Also meant to be based around the idea that these books are mainly banned due to religious ideas in the country, and the lack of religious separation from state.

The “shelf” area (the tree itself) - Carved from wood most likely using Dremel and/or chiseling tools.. The actual shelves may or may not be built separately and then attached but who knows!!

The shelf items/books - A handful should be 3D modeled + printed, possibly some items felted.

The wings - Styrofoam + plaster + fake feathers. Should resemble a magpie wings
