The author uses cause and effect to organize the text and to help the reader understand the text more.
       I think the author uses cause and effect because the text says because Sadie got in a accident so she had a fixed mind set that she cant play basketball. Another text evidence is that if Richie didn't teach Sadie to play basketball again then Sadie would just be siting in bed and this story wouldn't even be written right now.
This shows the reader that if Richie didn't show Sadie to play basketball then Sadie would not be in the game and she would have not meet Richie in the game.

Don't I matter anymore?"  but the text says again but the solution in the text is "Richie jogging toward her across the gym , holding a purple and white bouquet" so that show that Richie cares about Saide for the to win <3 :3]]> 2019-03-14 15:05:23 UTC https://padlet.com/rosenbergera/wonders/wish/341370303 Abby Scheiner https://padlet.com/rosenbergera/wonders/wish/341370349                  In the story titled 'Sadies game" by:James Bernardin with the genre realistic fiction.Sadie a girl who loves basketball got put in a wheelchair and her brother richie might have something to do with it.                                                                                                Sadie feels upset because she got in a "accident" that Richie her brother most likely had to do with it.                                                                                       this tells me it was problem and solution the text evidence i found shows how riche caused a problem and the  solution "richie polished his little new nook of a car" that means he might have had to do with why Sadie is in a wheelchair as in he crashed his car with sadie in it. the solution is richie brings her flowers. this reveals how he is gulity about what he has done to sadie.                                                                                                                                                                   and so this infers that richie had to do with sadie's accident by telling us about how he got a new car. if he didn't get in to this accident he probably never would of came to the game.  

          I think that riche can also be good and not have to do with Sadie's accident.

              because of this "sadie your brother loves you" that shows he cold have not been with in this accident.

Richie learned he should spend more time with Sadie.  
Sadie learned that she has to be more patient with her brother. Sadie can't be mad when he spends time with his friends.  He says she is always his best friend.
