It was helpful to have admin support and a team of coworkers to help get the program going.

Challenge was to engage adults who didnt immediately sign up. Admin helped with that.

What helped most was the tight faculty community. This helped us come together better to work through the list of students.

One of the challenges was making sure that the questions were worded in such a way that all students understood the intention.

It was hard to get all responses. Each grade in our building runs on different schedules so it was a lot of logistics to get the survey completed

Mt. Pleasant - just the sheer amount of data to process - 556 students giving a staff name, or two, and 98 adults who listed their name with anywhere from 5 to 50 students - and then connecting the right staff to the right students

If all our students had participated we would’ve had over 700 respondents and surveys to comb through.

Assigning the mentors was also kind of tough when a student listed no one and we weren’t sure who would be a good fit for that student so we had to really approach that as a team
