         <description><![CDATA[<div>Leonardo da Vinci was born on April 15, 1452 In Vinci, Italy. Da Vinci lived during the renaissance period. His father was a notary. He was raised by his single father and stepmothers. At the age of 14 he learned and worked for an artist Verrochio where he learned important technical skills like metalwork, leather arts, carpentry, drawing and sculpting. By the age of 20 he had qualified as a master artist in the guild of Saint Luke which was like a prestigious association for painters and artists. After this he started his own workshop.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div> Leonardo Da Vinci painter, sculptor, architect and engineer, kept notes of all his drawings of his studies, ideas and inventions. Da Vinci did not orginally write this as a note book, we know this as after his death it was put together and all the papers were diffrent sizes of papers written in diffrent periods of his life. He used mirrior writting so nobody could read his notes. He could write and draw at the same times with his left and right had.</div>]]></description>

By the French king he was given the title of the first painter, architect, and mechanic to the king, and provided him with a country house at Cloux. Da Vinci later died on May 2, 1519, at Cloux.</div>]]></description>
