The Kapampangan language sound more aggressive than the others. It is probably the loudest/most aggressive-sounding language in the country. That’s why Kapampangans can sound really loud even in public settings. Other Filipinos get surprised at how loud they can get but this is not on purpose. It is normal for us.

The typical kapampangan traits are judgmental, arrogant, loud, would splurge on luxurious/expensive things so they can keep face. The “magastos” part, another local once told me, might be bec of the bountiful and year round harvests in Pampanga, they know they’ll always have earnings from their next harvest so they tend to overspend, and sometimes borrow money in advance because they know there’s always “next harvest” (as opposed to Ilokano’s kuripot stereotype. Before, in Ilocos, they only harvest rice once a year, so they’re very frugal with their money).
