-The United States, Islamic Terrorists Groups, All US citizens.
-9/11 was a series of attacks from an Islamic Terrorist Group on the United States. Airlines were hijacked and planes flew into the World Trade centers (Twin Towers) and the Pentagon. This attack killed almost 3,000 people. 
-This event happened on September 11th, 2001. The attacks happened in the New York Trade Centers and the Pentagon. All attacks happened in the US.
-A few of the American Airlines planes were hijacked by Islamic Terrorists. The terrorists flew straight into the World Trade Centers in New York. Another plane was hijacked and sent to the pentagon and it was hit. 
-Life was affected very negatively. Many Airlines were shut down for a long time, almost 3,000 people died, and all of the citizens were scared. After this event, the US came together and helped everyone. Canada also helped the US to come back to normal life. The airlines also changed, security became tighter and the United States became stronger as a whole. 
-This event is important today because we became more aware of what could happen. Security in airports became much tighter. It also showed how our country could come together and show that nothing can stop us. 
-I chose this event because it changed the US forever. It showed that even throughout our differences we will always help each other in crisis. This event is very sad and will always be remembered.

-People that were involved were the United States, Barack Obama, and many others.
-In 2007 Barack Obama announced his campaign for his presidency. He ran against John McCain and won 52% of the votes. He is a part of the democrat party
-This affects life then & now because it showed that the world was changing. Before blacks couldn't even vote and now one was president. It made people believe that the US wasn't so racist. It raised hope that race relations will change and everyone is equal.
-I chose this event as one of the most important because it changed life forever. It showed how much we have grown throughout our history. It also shows that things can change for the better. It affected our life greatly and it is very important today.

-The whole world was involved with this issue.
-This Virus originated from bats. Somehow it spread to a human in China and then everything went down hill. IN March of 2020 many parts of the world were put into quarantine to stop the spread of this virus. Students did online school, many worked from home, and many also lost jobs. 
-This affected everyone poorly because there were 5.37 Million deaths throughout the world. There was also 276 million cases and being sick was a terrible thing. Jobs and School were also affected. We couldn't go anywhere and we had to wear masks. 
-I chose this event because the whole world was changed because of it. -This invention was made by Mark Zuckerberg,  Eduardo Saverin, and more. Harvard was also a big part of Facebook. It was created to help them. Facebook involved everyone throughout the world.
-Zuckerberg, the inventor of Facebook, first thought of it as a survey For Harvard to judge the attractiveness of their classmates. The success of this survey made him realize that it could be something that could work. The news of this new app spread from campus to campus and by the end of 2004, it reached over 1 million users. It spread from there and today it has almost 2.9 billion users. 
-It affected people then because Students could find new people to hang with. They could also find new clubs and teams to be a part of. Facebook was used in campaigns for presidencies and it made it easier to spread their message. 
-It affects us today because there are many other social media that are based on Facebook including Instagram. These social media make it easy to connect to others, but it has become a slight problem. People can spend way too much time on it, there is hatred spread among it, and it shows your "fake" life. 
- I chose this event as one of the most important because it was a new thing. Because of Facebook, many things have come to be. -Steve Jobs with the help of Stephan Wozniak invented the iPhone. Also the Apple company.
-The iPhone was inspired by Apple's, Newton pads. They failed with many inventions but eventually came up with the iPhone 1. 
- The iPhone was invented at the Macworld convention in San Francisco, California in June of 2007.
- Steve Jobs saw potential in this product and wanted to make it easier for the world today to communicate with others. 
-It affected the world by making it easier to communicate, making things more efficient, and everyone had the internet in their back pocket. It also affected people negatively. People became addicted to their phones, they stopped communicating with others in real life, and they cost a lot of money.
-This new invention was one of the topmost important events because everyone was affected. We could now communicate easier and have access to almost everything in the world. This invention also brought forth iPads, iPods, and many more phones. -Hurricane Katrina hit Alabama, Louisiana, and Mississippi. Mainly affecting New Orleans. The whole US was also involved with this hurricane donating and trying to help rebuild those states.
-Hurricane Katrina was a hurricane that hit the Southeastern United States. Killing almost 1,900 people. This hurricane cause flooding throughout almost 80% of the cities and the damage cost about 125 billion dollars. 
-It affected life then very negatively. As I said before about 1,900 people died and it costs 125 billion dollars to repair. It also took away a lot of people's homes and made many people poor. This hurricane caused both physical and mental harm. 
- It affects life today because those states that were affected will never be the same. We lost a lot of money. But no we are more prepared for what could happen. We now know what to do when another catastrophe does happen. 
-I chose this event because it was super important to the US. So many people died and a lot of money was lost. -Trump was never really involved in politics. He was a businessman and created the Trump Organization. He ran for president in 2016 and became the first president to ever win without being involved in politics before. 
-This affected people because he ran our country like a business. Things worked for the good for the most part and our economy was super high. 
-I chose This as one of the most important things today because it shows that anyone can be anything. He never intended to be president but he did and on paper, he was pretty successful.

- This war started because of the Attack on the Twin towers. The US invaded Afghanistan on October 7, 2001, hoping to pay them back for what they did. From 2002-2008 the US defeated the Taliban militarily and moved closer to the Afgan state. In 2009 Obama increased the number of troops fighting the war. The war continued until August when the US pulled their troops out of Afghanistan. 
-This War happened in Afghanistan and Pakistan 
-The reason for this war was the attack on 9/11. The US wanted to kill the leader of the terrorists but the Taliban government would not let them. The US government then invaded Afghanistan and the war began.
- This affected life then and now because it cost 2 trillion dollars. 170,000 lives were also lost. This war was the longest war that the US has ever fought, it lasted 20 years which made it so our troops were weakened. It didn't affect our personal lives at home, but we made sure that they would not attack us again. 
-I believe that this was one of the most important events because it has lasted for most of the 21st century so far. It was a big issue with sending more troops and we sent a lot of money. -It affected life by making it so LGBTQ memebrs coudl live their life freely and they were able to be treated the same way.

-It affected people then because it killed friends, family members, neighbors, and almost everyone was left homeless. It affected the US because our cost guard came to help them survive after the Earthquake. 
-It affects us now because our treaty with them became even stronger. We also spent money on them trying to help.
