Sarah snuck some of her meat that the family uses when the is scarce in the winter time and he kept coming back for more food then John Sarah’s 18 year old brother walked in one time when Charles Kent was eating his food and Sarah and John got into and argument about how she shouldn’t be getting involved in the war and then it became spring so all the snow melted and the soldiers could hunt for food now

Sarah is walking to the barn to do her chores when she sees footprints. She goes into the barn and she sees a soldier that is named Charles. He is bare foot and hungry. Everytime Sarah goes to the barn to do her chores she brings food out for Charles.

John finds out that there is a soilder in the barn which is bad because there dad doesn’t believe in the army.
4. Falling Action
Sarah wakes up and hears a drum. She goes outside and John is not there. He is in the army which Charles.
5. Solution 
John decided to help Sarah help the soldier.
