This resource is important to this standard because it gives a great introduction and great information about this standard. Crash Course is my favorite YouTube channel to use in the classroom because they do such a good job explaining the topic and providing extra information to students. I can easily post this video into Google Classroom and provide my students with guided notes so they can actively listen.

This is a great tool to post in Google Classroom for students to quiz themselves. It is an online gaming platform and my students enjoy playing games that lead to their learning. I can use this resource during down time so my students can be online without being distracted from the lesson at hand.

The Atlanta FED is a wonderful resource and they provide FREE infographics to teachers to hang in their classrooms. I have this infographic and hang it up when I teach this lesson. This, however, is great to post in Google Classroom so students can access it whenever necessary. It asks compelling questions that open discussion.

This activity is provided by the Atlanta FED and goes with the Infographic that is provided. This can be posted in Google Classroom with the Infographic for students to complete the activity while looking at the provided resource. Allowing students to do an activity like this ensures that students are using the Infographic, as well as, teaching students how to properly use an infographic. This also allows students to research real examples of countries who use these economic systems.

This resource is great for students to read about the various social and economic goals. It will then require students to use their reading comprehension skills to determine what social and economic goals each "politician" is pushing in their speeches. This is a great way for students to see what each of these goals mean in real time versus just reading and comprehending definitions.

This is a real life example of how the global economy is doing. This is specifically for economic growth, which is one of the social economic goals that my students will explore, and is a great resource to show a decline in growth globally. I would get students to look at this resource and write a paragraph on what they learned from this infographic. I believe that it is good for students to see real examples of what is happening globally so they are aware, and they need to learn how to read these resources and interpret them in their own ways.

This short video explains the importance of economic freedom. This is one of the social economic goals that students will learn about and this short video does a wonderful job on explaining Economic Freedom rather quickly. This is a great resource to use to give students more information about the topic. This will go into a folder labeled as "extra resources" for students to go into and do a deeper dive on various subtopics of the standard.

Students will need this as a reference for when they are comparing and contrasting each government system as well as how they treat their economies. This also allows students to compare their economic equity, security, and etc.
