Seasons]]> 2017-11-24 20:27:31 UTC https://padlet.com/sam_umkc/1mut4fp51aa6/wish/209977707 Classroom Activity: Student to work in groups on Four Season Tree (Each season per group) Guide lines • 4 toilet paper rolls (or 2 paper towel rolls cut in half)• Brown paint• 4 sheets of card stock or heavy cardboard (light blue works best)• Construction paper in green, yellow, orange and red• Handful of popped popcorn• Brown yarn• Tape• Glue• 4 pieces of string or twine, about 7 inches long Winter: Glue the brown yarn onto the paper above the paper roll “trunk” to create bare branches. Describe the season, how you feel.o Spring: Have him use light green construction paper to make leaves for the spring tree, glue the popcorn on to make flowers. Describe the season how it look like. o Summer: Use dark green construction paper to make leaves for the spring tree. Can also draw fruit on the tree or glue colorful buttons or circular scraps of red or orange paper. Describe the season, how you feel.o Fall: Use the yellow, orange and red construction paper to make autumn- colored leaves for the fall tree. How it look like, any two activities you like to do. Each group: point out the tree pictures and talk about how the trees look outside.Three sentences for each seasonal tree.
