         <description><![CDATA[<div>I am personally impressed with the development of Instant Fufu Powder.&nbsp;<br>Fufu, a staple food of Ghana and much of West Africa and the Caribbean, is made of cassava and plantain/cocoyam. Until the arrival of the Instant option , the preparation of this tasty carbohydrate dish was arduous. It involved peeling and cutting the cassava and plantain/cocoyam into pieces, boiling till soft, then pounding with&nbsp; mortar and pestle to achieve a dough-like consistency. The Fufu is served with soup and is simply delicious! For many people,&nbsp; the joy is worth the trouble. <br><br><br>Instant Fufu Powder has come to change the face of Fufu preparation. It has exchanged the considerable physical effort required, for convenience, speed and ease. One simply needs to add a measure of water to the powder, stir the mixture over a&nbsp; low fire, then knead into the dough-like consistency that is characteristic of Fufu. There is a slight difference in texture; however, the taste and satiety value of the two forms are quite the same. The innovative development of an Instant Fufu Powder&nbsp; has been radical, having a significant impact on the market and consumer choice within a short time frame. <br><br><br>Getting traditional Fufu consumers to change their perception of 'true Fufu' is a major challenge that this product would need to overcome in order to gain greater market share. In addition, there is an urgent need to reduce the use of salt, preservatives and food additives, to avert attendant health risks. Alternative means of packaging must also be sought, as the use of plastic is increasingly found to be harmful to the environment.&nbsp;<br>Instant Fufu Powder has won&nbsp; a&nbsp; place in many&nbsp; hearts, and given its usefulness, has certainly come to stay.&nbsp;</div>]]></description>
