Making oneself informed and educated about these foreign culture is not wrong, but Filipinos have this certain characteristic that they sometimes go overboard to the point that they patronize it and forget about their own roots and identity. Development is indeed happening in the Philippines with the help of foreign countries, but they are forgetting about their own identity. With globalization, capitalism is fed and expanded, although globalization has a big con, similarly its pros is unmeasurable as well. Globalization helps the country grow in numerous and unexpected ways, primarily, through trade and investments; Philippines own culture is also being spread through globalization.

The globalization theory gives prime on the cultural aspects and communication worldwide, creating a global village where we can connect with people worldwide. It has links, interdependence, and mutual awareness worldwide, making established and superior cultures dominate other communities. It is observable in the Philippines. For instance, a role model developed country heavily influences our culture, language, and values.
