This book is a very informative scientific read. It's about the research of a scientist named Caitlin O'Connel. Her nickname is the "elephant scientist" which inspired the title of this book! She studies elephants in Namibia, Africa. I think her observations of elephants and their behavior are very fascinating. She states that she found that elephants can communicate through "hearing" vibrations with their feet, which have special cells for the purpose!
