         <description><![CDATA[<div>Temperatures will continue to rise, the global average will be between one and two degrees higher than now, depending on how many greenhouse gases are emitted.<br>The accumulation of energy in the oceans will cause floods and more destructive and frequent storms.  The salt water will then begin to penetrate aquifers and freshwater wells, reducing the quantity and quality of drinking water, in addition to whitening and destroying corals.<br>At the same time, that surface heating will modify the global meteorological system, which will keep the poles melting and the sea will continue to rise.<br>Climate change is happening so fast that many species of plants and animals have ceased to exit.</div>]]></description>
