This photo is me and my friend qi shun. I feel that this is the most memorable photo for me as it is taken right before we left the school it reminds me of all the memories we have made with the kids throughout the two days and all the hard work we have put in whether it is painting, or teaching the kids or even how we trouble shoot when things did not go as planned. It also reminds me that we are very lucky to live in Singapore and although we have access to many facilities in our school, we still complain about different things. However, as for these people living in Cambodia, their school doesn’t have much but yet they are still so happy and not complaining, which makes me want to be more grateful for what I have in Singapore

This picture was the most memorable one for me as this was the last day. Even though we dont know each other language that much but i can see the bond me and them created, the first day i step into this primary school and saw the environment these children and teenagers are living in kinda makes me regret the things i didn’t treasure in primary school. A little bond can mean alot to these children. It touch my heart deeply.

This is a picture of the children from the primary school. This is most memorable to me because of the various ways we’ve spent time together that made us closer. I chose this picture because these group of boys. They were honestly very hard to deal with since they like to laugh at me for being slow while playing tag. It was tiring yet very fun to play with them and annoy them. We even have handshakes and i can tell that they enjoy being around me. They remind me of younger siblings so i dont mind when they hit me playfully. Therefore, this is my memoriable memory that ill treasure until im older. (I miss them)

My most memorable memory is in this picture where I spent time with the students. Even though we didn’t speak the same language, we had fun being and playing together. This memory is special to me because every where you go around the school, all the kids are very friendly towards you and encourages you to play with them but i didn’t expect that. After this experience, I want to be more grateful for what I have and to be more open to others when I return to Singapore.

my most memorial part of the service is playing with the kids. It made my day more lively, me and my friends played balloon with them and they’re so easily entertained. They don’t seem to be bored so easily. This photo was taken after playing with them. One of them was tickling so much but I don’t mind. I enjoyed it overall

This video was taken on the last day of visiting the primary school with the kids. We were trying to teach the kids a move and we were all surprised that they already knew as I expected them to not know these moves, some kids even knew more than me which made me more surprised. Having experience this makes me feel more ready for the future if I have the opportunity to do this type of things again. One mindset I will take along with me is that teamwork is very important. Because when I was at the primary school, my group had not enough materials but we still managed to think of other activities for the kids which made them very happy.

This is the memory that is the most significant to me as I learnt to appreciate, love children even more and I'm willing to do services like this again. The pictures of these kids here are my favourite ones (theres more but cannot find them) because they always like to pull me around and tickle me, they're also very sweet. They like to hug me a lot and they know football players as well like Ronaldo, Mbappe, Lamine Yamal, etc. I immediately matched their energy and we all connected instantly. They loved to approach me every time and chase me around to pull me like I was Tug of War. They also know alot of memes and I even taught them more brainrot from Tiktok. They've made me laugh a lot and I've never felt happier being with them. The children there have the chubbiest cheeks and the cutest smiles EVER. Spending every moment with the kids was worth it, I even felt emotional when we were about to leave for dinner and Night Market but I couldn't cry and held my tears back. Had to stay nonchalant 😛. The children brought back my child-like self. It was like being a kid again while I was playing catching with them and tickling them. I love every moment I had with them and I'll forever cherish these memories from Cambodia.

This picture shows one of exhibits at the Killing Fields in Cambodia. This is the most memorable photo to me as that place was the first destination we visited. I was aghast seeing all the remains of those who were brutally massacred during Pol Pot's regime. Futhermore, all of this happened just 50 years ago, my grandaunt would had been 14 years old back then. This picture was taken on the last day of the visit to the primary school. It's memorable to me because of the friendship formed within just 3 Hours with these three girls despite the language barrier. Names: Sinet (Left), Sa Ran, and Da Ng (Right). I was very close with Da Ng as you can see her holding my hand in the picture, it was because of how her name sounded like mine. From the first day I visited the primary school, I didn't not expect the learning condition to be so different. The fact that they didn't complain it was hot or dirty and was still so happy with such big smile really made me feel like I have taken things for granted and didn't really appreciate how I'm able to study in such clean classroom with many facilities. People complain about the lack of air conditioning in classrooms but the students in combodia are happy enough with only two small fans. From this experience, it made me change my mindset that we should be more grateful for what we have in Singapore. Even if it's small or big. There's people out there without much but are happy to received something small and simple, like a pencil.

this picture is significantly memorable to me as it shows the happiness and joy in every student. it shows how easy it was for us to get close to them despite it being our first time. i hope that through the 2 days of us being with them and bringing joy to them, i hope it left an impact on them that they will never forget. i definitely enjoyed the 2 days despite it being tiring, they never failed to make us smile.

I feel that the this is a very memorable memory because I get to interact with this kids and they are very funny and cheerful. Although we do not understand each other language we still manage to communicate. The kids will start pulling you and run around. They also held a dancing performance for us where I believe that they took quite ling to practice the dance to perform for us.
