Among other things, he says that repetition in music is a way to get you to notice everything else. I agree with him because artists often use repetition such as the chorus of a song to transition from one verse or idea to another. As well as using repetition to connect the concept in one part of a song to another or to get their point across better. An example of this is Drake in the song "Furthest Thing", he repeatedly questions if people can judge him since they seem to think everything's changed. On the other hand, John Mayer uses the hook in "Daughters" to connect the idea that the presence of a girl's parents can affect how she expresses love. I do not however quite agree with his idea of "good repetition" or "bad repetition".
