The city has declared a medical emergency, in the video you can see how the smog makes it difficult to see while driving. This pollution is mostly due to nearby corp burning. Secondly the dangerous gases are aided by traffic emissions which have the city on alert. Pollution is a worldwide crisis that is overlooked because of big company profits. The ethical issues that arise are public safety and species endangerment. This pollution is only recognized because of its current effect, like most things in life, people wait until its an issue that effects them to take action.
