-October 25, 1950, UN have gone into North Korea and approaching the Yalu River. 
-July 10th, 1951, a truce between UN and communists begins.(The negotiation was to stop war between them. It didn't end it and the fighting kept going for two more years.)

The United States had thought if communism was spread into one country, it would spread into all. If the United States didn't do anything to stop communism from spreading, all countries would be a communist country now. The United States had now has permanent military involvement around the world.
