We liked the storyChang'e and Hou Yi best.

Long, long ago on this day there were three immortal's who came down from heaven to earth.
They asked a fox, a monkey and a rabbit to  find them food.
Both the fox and monkey returned with food but the rabbit did not. The rabbit felt sorry for the three immortals so he threw himself into the fire and told them to eat him.
The three of them were deeply moved by the rabbits action so from that day on they called him the 'Jade Rabbit' and the legend was contiued to be told.

 mooncakes are a traditional chinese pastrie genrally eatin during the mid-autumn festival.

but then Hou Yi shot down 9 of them with his bow and arrow. Then he became

famous and everyone wanted to work for him. Feng Meng wanted to be famous

 so when Hou Yi went hunting Feng Meng stayed and tried to

drink the elixir but chang'e drank it instead and flew to the moon.

People sacrificed lots of things to the moon like watermelons apples mooncakes plums grapes and incence

than Australia.

They also eat completly different food such as
