         <description><![CDATA[<div>We don't feel that there is a small change we could make because of the deadlines and restrictions of the pacing guide. We do realize that within Math at least, students will get used to the Origo system, terminology, etc. But right now it moves too rapidly and students are missing major pieces from prior learning.</div>]]></description>

Because the district builds our curriculum based on CCSS and Best Practices, we can have confidence that we are reflecting and making progress toward fully implementing a Standards Based level.</div>]]></description>

         <title>My take away is that standards based grading will help teachers, students, and parents understand the progress the student is making. Standards based grading also tracks growth and helps to focus on specific skills that the students are working towards mastering.</title>

         <title>I believe standards based grading and instruction would be easier and more beneficial to the student&#39;s learning. I like the fact of working backwards. Starting with the expected learning outcome allows you to align your teaching and lessons with a purpose. </title>
