2. I drew the close ups of the leaves and the skin on one day, and really liked doing detailed shading for each picture. The second day I drew the two squares of the pineapple that are seen from a perspective that is farther away, and I think my style changed from the first day to the second. 2. I first chose a different object that was in a hotel, but  obviously could not take it home with me so I did not know how to draw it when I came back from North Carolina. I started to choose objects and this one stood out because of the different shadows and sides. I began to draw the whole object, later focusing on specifics. I drew the first three drawings in one day and for the last drawing I decided to take out the medicine bottle and place it near the inhaler. I chose to draw this snowball nightlight because it is something I constantly see every day. It was my goal to be able to see how much I could use my memory in the art process rather than constantly looking at a photo.
2. To start I took many different photos of snowball from many different angles. My goal was to take a few pictures of it from angles I was used to seeing, and then taking some from angles I wouldn't usually recognize it by. After being satisfied with the photos I had taken I went to drawing a simple outline of each photo. Once that was done I started the coloring. After my first coloring attempt I quickly realized that I had no idea how to blend markers. I learned that (my own preference and it might change later) it is easier to put down base colors and thn do overlays for the shadows.
