I have taken AP Biology and AP Environment Science getting an A in both classes and 4s on both tests. I am currently in AP Physics 1 and Forensic Science. Secondly, I already have presidential experience because I am the president of a medical exploring group at Kaiser Permanente Hospital. I coordinate with different healthcare providers to come give talks to students in high school. I would even be able to get some of these speakers to talk at Notre Dame. I also have had the opportunity to intern at UCLA conducting research on the brain in a real laboratory conducting experiences. Lastly, as many of you know, I am the queen of the castle which shows my ability to communicate well with others and get people involved. I believe with all these skills I have acquired over the years, I would be a great president for the Science National Honors Society.

I want to become president because I have a true love for science. I would like to go into health care when I graduate and think a strong background in science is very important. As your president, I would be able to learn more about other sciences I have not had the opportunity to study in school from you guys and activities we do. Primarily, I have a passion for the intellectual pursuit of science. I am currently taking AP Biology and AP Environmental Science and maintain an A in both classes. I plan to take both AP Physics 1 and 2 simultaneously during my senior year. In addition, I integrate my appreciation for science into my hobbies, as I clone multiple species of cacti and raise a variety of carnivorous plants. I have illustrated my potential to be both a leader and a committed individual through my position as a Roboknights lead and acceptance into the Medical Youth Summer Program at the University of Toronto, Canada, in which I participated in a laboratory setting studying human biochemistry.

I have gotten A’s in science since freshman year. I have already taken Honors Biology and Honor Chemistry. Currently, I am taking AP Chemistry and I have maintained a steady A for the past two months of school. I know I am only a Junior and my resume of science classes is limited, but I believe I have had enough experience to say that I love science. I am currently treasurer in three other organizations, which means I have the experience in leadership neeeded for this position. I have also been the office manager of a summer camp for two years in a row. This shows that I am able to take leadership when needed and I know how to delegate tasks. I also already know I want to be a pharmacist, proving my dedication to the field.

I want to become your secretary because I want to help this society in the best way I can. Being a secretary means writing down what happens during meetings and keeping you all informed. I am ready for anything this club needs me to do to make it as great as possible. In addition, I am planning to go into finance as my major and job field. I believe I am extremely qualified for this position because I am passionate about bettering our science community. I strongly believe that we as students can become more involved in science related activities. As the treasurer for this society I can help manage and raise money in a way that is most beneficial. Currently I am extremely involved in our community as an ambassador, ASB class representative, lawyer on mock trial and moot court, athlete on cross country and track, and a member of both peer leadership and National Honors Society. Academically, I have earned straight A's through all of my education including the science classes of honors biology, honors chemistry, and currently AP chemistry. As of now, I hold a 4.9 GPA, including A's in AP Calc and AP Stats which will contribute to my financial management skills. I would be very enthusiastic and involved as the treasurer of SNHS.
