Strengths: Quick, Systematic, Fosters Consistency, Easy to Translate in the Curriculum. 
Limitations: Difficult to construct, differences in understanding, rate towards center, bias can influence, may not include all relevant characteristics.

Participation charts: How often a child participates and the quality of their participation. Both the parents and the teachers can report the child's participation.

Frequency Counts: Tallies each time the behavior occurs and when the behavior occurs.

Checklists: Adaptable and they can be modified to fit the classroom needs. They can be filled out gradually and usually shown in a grid system.
