Prior to coming to BG, I worked 25 years at Prospect High School as a science teacher and Math/Science Division Head.

As Student Life Coordinator, I will be working with the Freshman Class as they reengage with in person learning as well as entering high school.  I will also be working with students who need extra support and creating opportunities for all students to find ways to make Buffalo Grove their home.

I grew up mostly in Palatine, however, as a little kid, my family moved a lot.  I lived in 6 towns in three states before I was in 2nd grade.

I am the middle child.  I have an older brother and a younger sister. And really enjoy having a cup of coffee.

After graduation, I went straight to DePaul University earning a Masters degree along with my teaching certificate.
I continued my education at National Lewis earning a Certificate of Advanced Study in Administration.

(Swimming, Diving, Gymnastics, Water Polo, Youth Theater, and more).
I am also an avid runner. I have run over 20 marathons. I run most of my marathons for a charity, Team World Vision, which works to bring clean water to kids who do not have access to clean water and must walk 6 kilometers to fetch dirty water. My longest run ever was on June 20, 2018 when I ran from sunrise to sunset on the longest day of the year.
