Realism was created around the 1850's, and was created by France. Once the revolution happened that is when the France decided to create this thinking. The thinking that people the we see or anything we can feel is realism something we can't see nor feel is a myth (GOTHIC). Realism doesn't like the idea of romanticism. Realism thinks that their belief is more important than romanticism since they are about nature and the people, and romanticism beliefs about love and emotion more than life. Realism is known for it beginning of modern art.

Huckleberry Finn theme is natural life, friendship, family, slavery, moral education, money, and shame. Huck represents natural life because, he has to fight for freedom and well being. One of the themes are friendship because he stayed with the widows so he can help his best friend. Family because he got a new family that he wasn't used to. slavery because the women took him to a place that they treated him bad. moral education because he gained that since the family placed him in a school that he wasn't used to. It also used money because he went from a family that doesn't have anything to a family that has money and everything. Finally its also shame since he was ashamed on how his dad was with him and how he would always come back home drunk.
