1st bullet point (memories)
- Mr. Pengelly's coin trick - children weren't very interested, he was too slow
- ball trick - children knew the ball wasn't really lost, under his hat
- magic wand trick - Thomas didn't feel very happy, Mr. Pengelly couldn't even perform his trick - mistake
- children had fun playing with the gaming console
- little hiccup with the gaming console but it go fixed

2nd bullet point (feelings about Mr. Pengelly)
-  resilient - tried - to get response from children, moved on from one failed trick to another
- sympathy- melancholy -at the end of the show he looked at his failed tricks, looked upset
- happy - he was able to fix Thomas' game console
-  frustrated - unprepared for the job - kept making mistakes
- felt like he wasn't a part of the celebration  

3rd bullet point (recommend-no)
- he didn't know how to do the tricks
- the point of the party was to entertain the children -he was not able to do that. They were bored

1) Your memories of what happened during the magic show at Thomas’s party
- Mr. Pengally attempted to have coins appear out of nowhere but the kids efound out how it was done.
- Mr. Pengally tried to have a multi-colored ball disappear from a box but the kids knew where he had hidden it 
- Edward even performed an audience trick with Thomas which also failed.
- The kids eventually got bored and left to play video games.

2)• your thoughts and feelings about Mr Pengelly that day
- I felt bad for Mr. Pengelly as the kids didn't show any interest 
- However Mr. Pengelly continued to show his magic tricks despite the many failures which shows his determination
- I involved him in with the kids so he could have some fun and feel better as he was upset
- He was pretty clumsy as he foiled the magic tricks.
- However, he took the liberty of repairing the controller making the kids happy
 
3) whether you would recommend him.
- Yes i would recommend him 
- He took the time and effort to join a 6 week training course 
-He's a polite man with a good heart 
- He's good with children and capable of engaging in   a fun conversation with them

Bullet Point 1[memories of the party]
- His tricks were barely average, he could't even fool a couple of children.
- No one was impressed, it was rather boring.
-His appearance was quite shabby. [hardly the appropriate garb for a magician]. His hat was dented and his magic wand didn't work.
- The children were not entertained by him at all and eventually got up to play video games.
- They practically begged me to get away from him.

- He was very pleasant, very nice gentleman.
- I felt ever so bad for him, he really did try hard to entertain us, and he was so cheerful around the kids.
- Even after having failed his tricks, he was still trying to make the children laugh. 
- He was so clumsy though, it gave us a good laugh. He had that comedic aura about him.
- When Thomas broke the controller, he took the time to fix it. he really is a good hearted man.

Was very evident where he hid the multicoloured balls. At first I felt he was unprepared and unqualified but then i realised he was sensitive as he got embarrassed and ashamed of his unimpressive show; felt humiliated & upset. 
Kind hearted - helped fix the game console 
Hopeful - kept looking towards the next trick incase it works and still had hope he’d impress the children after the show. 
Hard working - he decided to sign up for a 6 weeks retraining course 
Quiet - stood in the kitchen alone and didn’t talk until I called him outside

yes, I would recommend him because I believe he realised his weakness and has worked on it. 
He has a gentle personality, easy to communicate with children
