         <title>Directed writing Kashish

P - to inform, recommend
A - friend (Jane)
F - informal letter
T - dissatisfied, suggestive
V - Thomas&#39;s mother.

memories:
1) Mr Pengelly was dressed up funny and most of his props/tricks did not work which was disappointing.
2) repeated the &quot;plucking coins from thin air&quot; trick way too many times and rather slowly for the children to easily find out how exactly the trick was being carried out.
3) nobody deceived/impressed by &quot;sucker trick&quot; - Made Mr Pengelly look very clumsy. Was very evident where he hid the multicoloured balls. (unimpressive)
4) His &quot;audience participation&quot; trick which was supposedly supposed to reform the situation failed miserably.
5) Thomas felt rather embarrassed in front of his friends and was constantly persistent over wrapping up the magic show.
thoughts about mr pengelly:
clumsy and anxious: he was so focused impressing the kids that he kept making mistakes.
