I'm finding the best idea is to ignore it until the end. I make my own short citations as I'm writing and then go back and put them in proper format when I finish. Most of the errors I make come when I am trying to cite while I am writing.

Some weeks are better than others. Between grading during the week and remembering to have my discussion posted by Wednesday/Thursday can be a balancing act! I spend one evening (usually Tuesday) mapping out the assignment for the week-outlining, getting my cover page and my resources cited.
Most weekends have a 3-4 hour block to work on writing, weekly activities and revisions. I'm not sure if I'm the only one that has a hard time getting things done during the week...but knowing that I have Saturday or Sunday to get things done is a great feeling!

I have been trying to just take it one day at a time. I try to get all my ideas and everything down during the week and use the weekend to finalize everything and then focus on citing with APA. That seems to be my biggest problem is making sure everything is cited correctly.

For me, I try to do one item a day. That may be doing the discussion board on Tuesday. Learning Activity on Wednesday and the Assignment on Friday. I also try to limit my time to a set amount and wherever I am, stop. Break. Start back where I left off when I want to resume.

I have a pretty good routine down now but I wouldn't recommend it to others. It involves doing most of the work on the weekends and early in the morning. My discussion posts are the biggest struggle for me so far because I focus so much on teaching during the week.

Then working on assignments in free time. This past week has been very difficult though. I had a work injury that has landed me with physical therapy and dr. appointments. And I also had a bridal shower for myself this weekend so that took away a full day of work time. October weekends are busy for me with pre wedding stuff so I am trying to find time to move more of my work into the week but its hard to do with all the home and school requirements.
