1. Decisions: Decisions are one of a slew of things that make me stressed. I constantly start to think whom will my decision effect, how will it effect them, will it effect me, or when you make a final decision that took a while to contemplate, then present it to a person and say your final answer ”No I cant do that” . They then feed you any excuse for you to change your mind. I usually cave under this pressure and just say whatever they want because they never wanted my true answer in the first place. Which can further lead to issues depending on the situation. The harder the decision to make, the more I stew and re evaluate it over and over. I even procrastinate.

2. Pressure: Pressure is yeah another thing that makes me stressed. Under pressure I find it hard to stay true to my self. I usually cave in under pressure to whatever forces are causing it. As I stated above the decision process above I can be easily pressured into saying whatever answer the second party wants to hear . This only happens when they keep badgering me over and over when I keep saying NO. They come up with any excuse, and I already ran these scenarios in my mind. I do try to stand my ground, but it can be very difficult.

These two things that cause me stress may sound a bit silly to others but to me they are struggles I deal with daily.

-Brandon Stallard

Two things that I find contributing to my stress is starting a new job and being busy. I find these things affect me because when they are factors in my life I usually have a hard time sleeping, eating and focusing. These stresses might not be a big factor for some people but for me they are huge. The worst part about being affected by these symptoms of stress is that I feel like they compound or snowball into much more or a bigger presence of stress. The way this happens makes it very difficult for me to catch it before the next day happens, evidently repeating the cycle and creating even more stress.

Taylor

I also find that I worry about getting finished school on time so that I can reach my goal.

Alex

I don't stress out about a lot of things normally, but I find thinking about my future (overthinking in general, actually) is my number one stress factor, especially lately. It isn't a huge issue, I just get thinking about what might happen if I fail to do this, or what if I don't get this done by this time. Just a lot of 'what ifs' that cause me to stress out, it gets overwhelming at times. But then I find it also motivates me to work harder towards that future after a little bit.

If anything else stresses me out, it's probably procrastination. I am terrible with it sometimes, and while I don't do it as often as I used to, I find I do it often enough with things I shouldn't that I stress myself out and get myself into a bind. I'll usually work my way through it at the last minute but I am run pretty ragged from the stress afterwards. It's a bad habit I'm still working on breaking.

Matt Gustafson

1. Obsessive Compulsive Disorder is something I've had my entire life and it interferes with absolutely everything I do. It stresses me because of the constant mental nagging it inflicts upon me to do things in a specific order or to repeat myself over and over again. The consequences of not obeying the compulsions are anxiety, the feeling of some kind of impending misfortune however obeying it just creates more stress in the attempt to rid myself of it.
2. Being inactive is something that stresses me greatly, I simply cannot sit still. Unless I am actively doing something it just creates more stress until I can find something to busy myself with.

-Kevin Hamann.

1. Parenting often stresses me out. I often wish my son came with a user manual. It's sometimes difficult to know how to best support him. If I'm too involved in his life, am I enabling him, which will result in him not developing the skills he will need in his life. Or should I back off, and watch him make mistakes? There's always a lot of internal dialogue that has me second guessing my actions when it comes to him.
2. Exercise, or the lack of exercise stresses me out. I know that being active, and outdoors helps me to manage my stress. However, there isn't always the time to ensure that self-care happens.
